Nalanda Vidyaniketan School is a co-educational institution that follows the CBSE curriculum and educates students from preschool to senior secondary school (XI-XII).

Nalanda has always believed in a Holistic approach to education. In grades 1 and 2, concept-oriented “interactive teaching” assists students in understanding and mastering concepts rather than simply memorising facts.

Every year, three evaluations for Primary classes I through V are conducted. Evaluation 1, Evaluation 2, and Evaluation 3. The three assessments are used to evaluate the performance of the student. They occur three times every three weeks throughout the academic year.

From Classes VI to X (CBSE), each syllabus is divided into two equal parts by two semesters. The two semesters include two exams that replace the previous system of Mid-Term Tests and Final Exams. The syllabus is divided in such a way that topics related to the upcoming academic year are planned for this semester.
